Anlässlich des Eid Al-Fitr teilt die Botschaft der Arabischen Republik Ägypten in Berlin mit, dass die Konsularabteilung am 09.10.,11. und 12 April 2024 geschlossen ist. Die Botschaft empfängt ab Montag, dem 15. April 2024, zu den üblichen Öffnungszeiten wieder die Besucher im Konsulat.
In diesem Zusammenhang möchte die Botschaft allen in Deutschland lebenden ägyptischen Staatsbürgern ein gesegnetes Eid Al-Fitr wünschen.

On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Berlin informs that the Consular Section will be closed on October 9, 11 and 12, 2024. The Embassy will welcome visitors to the Consulate again on Monday, April 15, 2024, during the usual opening hours.
In this context, the Embassy would like to wish all Egyptian citizens living in Germany a blessed Eid Al-Fitr.

Hygienische Sicherheitsvorschriften in Ägypten
Aktuell gibt es keine Corona-Einreise-Beschränkungen mehr. Folglich werden keine Nachweise zu Impfung und oder Tests mehr verlangt.
Umgang mit Touristen in Hotels, die während ihres Aufenthalts in Ägypten Symptome zeigen oder positiv auf COVID-19 getestet werden
• Touristen sollten sofort die Hotelleitung oder einen Arzt benachrichtigen, wenn sie Symptome von COVID-19 zeigen.
• Die Hotelleitung muss jeden positiven Fall an das Ministerium für Gesundheit und Bevölkerung melden.
• In jedem Hotel wird eine bestimmte Etage (oder ein Bereich in der Nähe) für die Quarantäne von leichten, nicht kritischen oder Verdachtsfällen zur Verfügung gestellt.
• Das Hotel übernimmt die Kosten für Unterkunft, Verpflegung und alkoholfreie Getränke für Touristen mit geringfügigen und unkritischen Fällen, die positiv auf COVID-19 getestet wurden.
• Kritische Fälle von Touristen, die positiv auf COVID-19 getestet wurden, werden in ein Krankenhaus gebracht.
• Das Ministerium für Gesundheit und Bevölkerung übernimmt die Kosten für Medikamente und Behandlung von Touristen, die positiv auf COVID-19 getestet wurden, bis zu ihrer vollständigen Genesung.
• Enge Kontaktpersonen, die ein Zimmer mit dem positiven Fall teilen, werden vom Ministerium für Gesundheit und Bevölkerung kostenlos medizinisch untersucht. Sie dürfen ohne zusätzliche Kosten im Hotel übernachten (falls sie dies wünschen).
• Touristen, die positiv auf COVID-19 getestet wurden und in ihr Herkunftsland zurückreisen möchten, tun dies auf eigene Verantwortung. Sie sollten sich mit ihrem Reisebüro abstimmen und alle vom Ministerium für Gesundheit und Bevölkerung vorgeschriebenen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen ergreifen.
• Touristen, die positiv auf COVID-19 getestet wurden, können in Absprache mit ihrem Reisebüro einen alternativen Flug nehmen, wenn sie mit einem Charterflug ankommen. Bei Ankunft mit ägyptischen Fluggesellschaften wird der Alternativflug (mit derselben Fluggesellschaft, die ursprünglich gebucht wurde) ohne Gebühr zur Verfügung gestellt.
Hygiene Safety Regulations in Egypt
Currently, there are no more Corona entry restrictions. Consequently, proof of vaccination and or tests are no longer required.
Dealing with tourists, in hotels, who show symptoms or test positive with COVID-19 during their stay in Egypt
• Tourists should notify the hotel management or doctor immediately in case they show any symptoms of COVID-19.
• Hotel management is to report any positive case detected to the Ministry of Health and Population.
• A designated floor in every hotel (or area within the vicinity) is allocated for the quarantine of minor, non-critical or suspected cases.
• The hotel will cover the cost of lodging, food and soft drinks of the minor and non-critical cases of tourists testing positive with COVID-19.
• Critical cases of tourists testing positive with COVID-19 are taken to the hospital.
• The Ministry of Health and Population covers the cost of medication and treatment of tourists testing positive with COVID-19, until their full recovery.
• Close contacts sharing room with the positive case will undergo a free medical examination by the Ministry of Health and Population. They are allowed to stay at the hotel with no extra charges (should they wish to).
• Tourists testing positive with COVID-19 and wish to travel back to their source country do so at their own responsibility. They should coordinate with their travel agent and take all the precautionary measures set by the Ministry of Health and Population.
• Tourists testing positive with COVID-19 can take an alternative flight in coordination with their travel agent in case of arrival on charter flights. In case of arrival on Egyptian airlines, the alternative flight will be provided (on the same airline initially booked) with no penalty.
إعلان بشأن تحصيل رسوم على طلبات التأشيرات
تعلن السفارة المصرية (القسم القنصلي) في برلين عن البدء بتحصيل رسوم على جميع طلبات الحصول على تأشيرة الدخول إلى جمهورية مصر العربية بقيمة 3,00 يورو، بداية من الجمعة الموافق 15/10/2021
وذلك تنفيذا للقانون رقم (4) لسنة 2021
أما الرسوم المقررة مسبقاً على أنواع التأشيرات المختلفة ، فستظل كما هي

Announcement regarding the collection of fees for visa applications
The Egyptian Embassy (Consular Section) in Berlin announces the start of collecting fees for all visa applications for entry to the Arab Republic of Egypt at a value of 3,00 euros, according to Law No. 4 of 2021 starting from Friday 10/15/2021.
However, the previously established visa fees for different types of visas will remain to apply.
The Egyptian Embassy in Berlin takes this opportunity to express its sincere appreciation and respect.
Bekanntmachung zur Erhebung von Gebühren für Visaanträge
Die Ägyptische Botschaft (Konsularabteilung) in Berlin gibt bekannt, dass ab Freitag, den 15.10.2021, die Gebühren für alle Visaanträge für die Einreise in die Arabische Republik Ägypten gemäß dem Gesetz Nr. 4 von 2021 in Höhe von 3,00 Euro erhoben werden.
Die bisher festgelegten Visagebühren für die verschiedenen Visatypen bleiben jedoch weiterhin gültig.
Die Ägyptische Botschaft in Berlin möchte bei dieser Gelegenheit ihre aufrichtige Wertschätzung und ihren Respekt zum Ausdruck bringen.
